We are aware that fraudsters sometimes impersonate legitimate companies and their employees — including consultancies like eBlocks Software — using fake job offers, fake invoices, or requests for payment and personal information sent by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or social media. These communications are not from us.
What eBlocks Software will never do
• We will never ask you to pay money at any stage of a recruitment process — no application fees, training fees, equipment costs, or “administration” charges.
• We will never ask for your banking PIN, card details, one-time passwords, or copies of identity documents over email or messaging apps as part of an unsolicited approach.
• We will never make you a job offer without a genuine application and interview process with our team.
• We will never ask you to move a conversation about payments to a personal email address or an untraceable messaging channel.
How to verify that communication is genuinely from us
• Genuine eBlocks Software email comes from addresses ending in @eblocks.co.za. Check the full sender address, not just the display name.
• Our only website is www.eblocks.co.za. Be suspicious of look-alike domains with extra words, hyphens, or different endings.
• Our open positions are listed on our careers page. If a vacancy or offer does not appear there, treat it with caution.
• If you are unsure whether a message is really from us, do not reply to it — contact us directly at solutions@eblocks.co.za and we will confirm.
If you think you have been targeted
• Do not pay any money or share further personal information.
• Keep the messages as evidence and report the incident to your bank if you have made a payment.
• Report the fraud to the South African Police Service and, where relevant, to the platform the fraudster used.
• Let us know at solutions@eblocks.co.za so we can warn others and act against the impersonation.
eBlocks Software accepts no liability for losses arising from fraudulent communications sent by third parties impersonating us, but we take every report seriously and act on them.
